Formerly known as the 'Bird in Hand', The Countryman is a GRADE II listed building with parts dating back to the early 16th century.

The 'Bird in Hand' closed in 1971 to reopen as The Countryman.  

The Countryman stands tall with it's impressive gable end facing directly onto the A140. This has been the site of an inn since the 1500's.
